December 19th, 2013
was hoping i can update my android OS on my x10 as the usb port on it is broken and its a second hand phone so no warrenty.
i can get files to and from my phone via wifi but i cant update it with sonys program for it
is there an apk of exe type update for android?
cheers for any advice … most appreciated
anyone have an idea for this?
just because i know alot of apps use 2.1 now and that it adds multitouch to it
and with the usb being broken on it my only way is to do it through wifi or apk type file on the phone itself
cheers for any info

I may be wrong though, as this post is about flashing the firmware etc, but perhaps you can do a thorough search of that forum
OTA I Believe Is not Possible , You May Want to use the update service [ Ive Tried A Few Handsets Works A Treat ] Requires a computer though .
ok cheers for the info peeps… thought it wouldnt be possible … was trying to find a way to do it without having to pay to get it fixed… cheers for info thou most appreciated..
