Unique IP limit on Megaupload?
August 5th, 2016
So my friends and I are thinking about sharing a Megaupload account for a year. I know RS limited the amount of unique IPs so if too many different people were using the same account they would warn then suspend, but do Megaupload do the same? If so, what is the limit to unique IPs?
Thanks.
Rapidshare didn’t ban/lock the account when more then a certrain different ip’s accessed an account, but they just changed the password and sent it to the registered email.
So you will be safe, but I know one thing, that they don’t disallow account sharing, for the precise numbers you should mail MU.
If you don’t want to bring up account sharing, then just ask them what the max ip limit per account is.
If you are only 2, it’s ok, that’s what I do for years
I think RS was the only one who was that strict with a maximum of 4 ip’s or so.
I’ve shared my HF account with like 7 friends, and no problem thus far.
No point in emailing MU, I’ve emailed them numerous times about various things and NEVER got a reply !! Useless.
How many friends are we talking about?? you and three other friends?? “Should” be ok… but the only problem that I can see is if your all downloading from the same account at the same time, then it would start to flag the account up.
If it was just YOU using it in 3 or 4 different location, then I couldn’t see any problems with that. It’s just the “using at the same time issue”
