Studying in Japan

January 27th, 2020

Hi people,
I’m currently an 11th grader. After 12th I plan to get my bachelor degree from India only. But to get my master degree I want to get it from some university in Japan. So can anybody tell me what kind of examinations do I have to give for studying in Japan? And also do I have to know how to write japanese for that? And do I also have to give the JLPT?

it depends on the school, some schools do have international classes which are taught in english but those classes are limited, if you are going to a vocation school you do need to have passed the JLPT (japanese language test) up to level 2, also make sure you have tons of cash saved up, JAPAN IS EXPENSIVE, and with a student visa you are only allowed to work 20 hours a week, and even then you need the express permission to work and that might take 1 or 2 months to get cleared, of course if you apply for a work visa you are set, however you will need to have your employer be your guardian and if you get fired they will deport you, also please note that you are required to get a alien card and you cannot return home and come back without express permission form immigration, although they do have international schools, like in any country most classes are in the main language in this case japanese, chances are the classes you wish to take are going to be in japanese only.
