Sound system/ speaker for party?

September 13th, 2019

Hi, I am looking to buy sound system/ speaker for party… I am bit confused which one I choose.. I am after something very loud with bass… I tried grab info about JBL but there is no update review on youtube about latest… Can any one recommend which one i go for? My budget is A$1500…
Answer #1
Well, I can’t make any recommendations without knowing where your from first!
But generally speaking, For music, You’d be best going with a setup that consists of integrated amplifier, dedicated cd player & stereo speakers.
Edit: Using a desktop/laptop computer instead of a cd player would be another option, But if you’re gonna do this, I strongly recommend you buy a dedicated sound card as onboard ones aren’t that great (quality wise)

JBL EON…
Answer #3
I can imagine grabbing loads of Microlab Solo 7c’s.
Answer #4
I will be using Mac book pro… Can I extend on sound card slot for that! what else I will require to boost it up! Today I saw JBL STX 815m on web. But unfortunately here in
Australia there is no franchise… If I need to buy I have to ship and pay for freights. Any one extend to it… Wht abt yamaha, boss, and pioneer?
Answer #5
How big of an area do you need to cover? Indoors, outdoors? Number of people?
Without any info about your event, no one can offer realistic suggestions. It could be anything from a good home stereo system up to serious concert sound gear.
Answer #6
Not such bigger area… Probably for outdoor mainly… For rough idea size equivalent to gym… Crowd capacity of 40-50…. If I opt concert gear I will push amount lil towards A$2000…
Answer #7
final thoughts???
Answer #8
A reasonable PA system is probably what you need….There is often some good second hand gear around too.
Check out the GumTree and eBay on the net….and your local Cashies or pawn shops..
You often get stuff that has had little because they bought it for DJ or band use but no longer require it.
Answer #9
Thanks everyone I stick with JBL STX 815M ordered it online… Now waiting to for the freight…
Edit: Last thing which amplifier I would buy to match the quality STX 815m…
