(Solved)Skyrim sound issues?

October 28th, 2013

Is anyone else getting sound issues and knows of a fix? The sounds all seem fine, but sometimes sounds such as waterfalls and voices like to cut out. When voices cut out, you can hear a crackling sound as if they’re trying to talk with a mouthful of crackers. My sound drivers are all up to date. I currently have realtek on-board audio.

I’ve not had any issue like this, Saioke. Is it a legit copy, or from Awesome’s post or someone similiars?
Though, however I have poked around on some forums and similiar people have had a problem however, they disconnected their dual scree and started working correctly. Doubt this might help, but if it does, good luck!

It was a cracked copy, but I solved this issue by doing a bit of searching today. Apparently, if your sound frequency is set to anything other than 44100Hz, you’ll have these sound issues. If anyone experiences the same problem, the way to fix this is to open your sound settings. On the playback tab, right click on “speakers” and select “properties”. Click on the “Advanced” tab and select “24 bit, 44100” from the drop down menu. This should fix all problems with sounds.
