Thanks in advance..!!
You go to the manufactures website and download them, the process is the same for every computer under the sun =D
Go to Dell website..Select your laptop Model..Download and install all the necessary drivers..

I know that but i think Windows 7 do install the basic drivers automatically such as video, usb, ehternet etc. but in my case no such thing happened. Even i have to install usb driver to run my usb flashdrive..!!
That’s happens lots of time. Is Windows Update turned on? Either way, it’s preferable to update the drivers manually,

Nope i just formatted my laptop and the other thing is i do the same thing with my desktop and after formatting at the first restart windows 7 do install the basic drivers itself. So basically my question is does the same thing happens in laptop also, coz it’s the first time i had formatted my laptop so i don’t know such things..!!
Yes, the same thing happens in a laptop, at least it should. Windows Update must be on, in order to update most drivers automatically.
Okay..thanks a lot for the help Khozik, will try that now after formatting again, hope so it works now..!!
You shouldn’t format just because of the drivers. It’s always recommended to install them manually.
Besides, turn Windows update on and see if it can install the drivers alone, you don’t have to format to do so.
Yes i will not format my laptop again for sure and yes will try and turning on the windows update and try..!!

Let me clear up this confusion, Windows does not support all hardware on the planet by default!
It has a set of built-in drivers for various hardware yep, But it doesn’t support everything by itself!
You were already given the right answer, Now stop being lazy and just download the drivers needed!
