i cant seem to find drivers for my wireless adaptor for windows 7 any help please its a clean install everything else is fine ..just cant find the wireless drivers?!?!?!?!??

Answer #1
Download this tool:
http://www.mediafire.com/?cmd5ty9iv1ng1re
Run & Provide the output (use a flash drive if needed)
It’d list the hardware ids, Which will help me find a compatible driver.
I’d also need to know if you installed the 32 or 64 bit version of Win7.
Answer #2
its on 32 bit kinda old laptop …heres the list of specs ???
sorry this is the model of wireless adaptor :
intel pro/wireless 2200bg network connection

hope this helps ?
Answer #3
Try this driver:
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/15798/eng/11.5.1.2_VT_DRIVERS.zip
If it doesn’t work, Provide the hwid listing.

Not sure what you mean by that, The hwid listing above does belong to the laptop in question, Right?
Anyways, The driver is already installed from what I can see, What exactly is the problem?

By “new to this” you mean you recently bought the laptop second hand and never had one before, Or at least not with wireless? Are you aware there’s a special key or key combo your suppose to press in order to turn the wireless on?
nino191d replied: thanx for all the help so far Roberto400
You welcome
Edit: Just realized I should’ve been more specific about the keys, Look for one that has one of these icons:

On some laptop this key is standalone, But on others (if it appears on one of the F keys) you’d need to press FN+That particular F key.
Answer #8
Dell’s are usually <Fn><F2> (Enables and disables radios, including wireless networking)
Here’s the user manual for that model incase you haven’t got one.
