Should I return my computer case and get this and ram?

Should I return my computer case a thermaltake commander g42:

for this:

I mean I do like my current case but I might not even watercool and in the mean time dust is getting in from the top to my computer components while the NZXT has no opened top.
Another thing is I like my computer front and the NZXT one also because if I do add a cd/dvd drive it won’t the case look ugly since the front is close able.
Other than that mostly everything is the same except for the front there is 2 fan space so if I do want to watercool I could use the front on the NZXT I guess from the newegg review and the good thing is the front is closeable so not much dust will build up. I am unsure of the back cabling but my thermaltake has enough room on the back so I manage my cables good.
I also like the NZXT since it has padded sides which is suppose to stop or reduce noise level coming from the inside of the case.
Bad thing is there is no side window to view my computer sideways lol but I will manage without it if I do buy it.
So my question is do you think the NZXT is worth it when it is not out of stock. I mean looks like a nice case for the price and better against dust I hope.
Also ram question:
Will getting a 8GB ram 1600 be the same thing as ram 4GB 1600 or will double in the ram make it better? I will replace a 4GB 1600 with a 8GB 1600 ram so will it be the same speed or will it make a difference other than 4 more gig on a stick?

Answer #1
You should have 2 (or 4) sticks of ram the same type and size. One in Chan A and one in Chan B …This way they run in dual chan.
Better than one big stick or mixed sizes..

Well my compute can handle 32GB so I rather get 8GB right now encase I want to get some more ram but asking is it a good thing to jump from a 4GB stick to an 8GB. I would rather max out 1 slot than put different ammount of ram.
Also do you think the case is worth switching?

Most of the sound will come from your fans. Next would be your regular hard drive. Since it spin and vibrate. My fans come with silicon feet. Its like a silicon circle. Dont really know the name .
Which goes between the screws to minimize vibrate. Also have fan control so it always stay low when not gaming. Buy silicon feet for your other component and it will minimize the vibrating of the thing. Which cause less noise.
Get a good power supply that stop the fan when not hot. Upgrade that fan to a better one that has the silicon feet thing I mention. Just search for Corsair SP/AF fans and look at the mounting hole and you will see what I mean by the silicon feet.
As for you tower. Pick what ever it look nice to you. For me. I wouldn’t pick either. Go with 16gb ram. I am using 16gb and well. Nothing topped or even near it yet.

The way you put it it seems like a good deal, I also believe cases that are closed on the top can handle dust better. I don’t think you will have a cabling problem, dimensions are fine.
Answer #5
Whether you upgrade your ram really depends on the specs of your computer and what you plan to use it for

Horrible case. Looks nice and all but horrible thanks to stupid microcenter. They had sold me a used case at a full price $64 so I was missing some screws and it took almost 2 hrs to complete because the fan case cables are to short. The whole computer instead lookers messed up. Thanks microcenter for selling me a used case a full price. Should have kept my old case but sadly returned to amazon . I hope the ups store still has it because they said they won’t ship until monday. On my way old case which I love. Screw this new case. I don’t care that my other case doesn’t have that much filter. But bye off to get my old case back and cancel the return if I can.

Got a NZXT H440. Neat looking case. Cost $140. Love it so far its the white color except that cable management is hard in this case also for some reason and I don’t get the bottom part where the part supply goes so that was freaking hard and took a long time to get right.

case is an individual choice so i wont comment about it. for ram i will give you info. 1- having 2*4 or single 8 , doesnt make any significant difference , or doesnt make any difference at all according to benchmark through past years. only difference is one of them is occupies more ram slots.
2- benchmarks also show that in general there is no difference between using a ram single chan , dual chan or quad chan . triple chan is not a common thing and not have wide range of use so i dont know about it.
3- for gaming benchmarks shows there is only most %5 and average %1-2 fps gain difference between 2 rams of same amount , same module , same ddr, one is 1333mhz other is 3200mhz. if we talk in practice , most healthy fps you can gain at those days is 144 , cuz it is the max refresh rate of all available monitors. when you apply average %1-2 performance gain to it , you will see that you get average 1.4 to 2.8 fps gain between the most expensive memory available and the cheapest. this is the best case scenario , most monitors supports up to 60hz which means less healthy fps gain. as i said at the beginning this is only for gaming , i dont have clue for doing other things.
as a result ram thing is totally marketing thing which has no benefits. only thing that matters is the amount of ram. there are less known rams known as “sram” which are static rams , they have more performance and special abilities like error correcting but they are far more expensive than current ddr3 and ddr4 sdram that are generally used for personal computers , so it is not an option.
