which is the be way to install computer case fan ? blowing cool air in ? or sucking hot air out ?

Gonna go on a limb and say this is posted in the wrong section? You should have a fan bringing in air and a fan forcing the hot air to exit…

if just one fan it should be blowing hot air out
if more than 1 fan

back of case “hot air out”
front of case “blowing cool air in”

80mm fans won’t really do much on airflow.

when using cooling fans in a case you need to create positive air pressure i.e. if you have 1 exhaust fan then you will need to intake fans to maximise cooling.
so in your case you might only have space for one fan so you would need to make it an intake fan, regardless of whether it is at the front or back of the case.

This. If you force air into the case it will always find a way out. If you force air out of the case air might not necessarily seep in

I will second this. It is far easier to have the air flow in. Also, having your laptop elevated or your pc in a place where air is more accessible will be more preferable. Make sure that your laptop or box are not restricted on the air intake, as this is crucial to better coling your system and maintaining the desirable core temperature. From time to time you will be required to clean your fan. Dust does accumulate inside, so if your hearing your fan being constantly on, I think its time to do some cleaning Smile.

this is my computer case, this is how i put my computer case fan. computer idle around 48c, max 52c. this is alright setup ?

this is my computer case, this is how i put my computer case fan. computer idle around 48c, max 52c. this is alright setup ?

In my opinion, the front is good but as for the two fans on the side; I would make the top one suck air out and the first two (from bottom to top) suck air in.
Hot air rises so you want to suck it out from the top of the case, not the bottom.

as a test disable the “big fan out” and see if any temps change
that front fan is moving air in but the “big fan out” is sucking it out before it can absorb any heat
then try reversing “big fan out” and watch your temps
then run with the setup that gives you the lowest temps

A slightly positive pressure is better than negative pressure imo. Almost all high end cases have positive pressure. It reduces dust build-up. But yeah a negative pressure could reduce temps and having a single rear fan as intake is not a good idea. an exhaust fan has no restrictionMost likely the there would be a grill or holes where the fan would be mounted and that = restriction. There is no such thing as no restriction unless in a vacuum

temp seems a lil high, you running a stock CPU cooler

I’m running the same cpu with stock cooling. i get an idle temp of 40c and when running prime i gte a max of 51c. also positive air pressure will force air out.
