Setting up a FTP-server

August 2nd, 2016

Hello mates,
I’ve just bought a new Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ RND4275. I want to use it as a FTP-server which contains my photos and my friends could easily see and access them. But I have no idea how to do this. Could you please tell me how I could setup a FTP-server. I couldn’t find anything on Netgears homepage. I know that I have to change something in my router (port-forwarding). Thanks a lot for all help in advance!

Hmm, you could try to connect it to your PC, and then use Bulletproof FTP server. you can find the program in . I did that to mine, and it works
