Samsung Smart TV, web browser problem.

Just bought and set up my TV. The wifi dongle is connected and I can access youtube and download apps from Samsung Apps. The only problem is with the web browser. When I launch it, it first said connecting, then updating and it keeps circling (loading) for a very long time. ( 2 hour + ) If I interrupt and launch it again, it updates again. Its never ending and I can’t access any web page.

Obviously it shouldnt be taking that long, but how long have you actually left it for? Try leaving it to run overnight or something.
I’ve left it continue updating for about 2 hours. I called them up and asked. They said to submit a service request. And so I did.
