[Solved] ESET Smart Security and MiNODLogin problem

Wondering if anyone has been having issues with MiNODLogin.
I’m using ESET Smart Security 6.0.308.0 on Windows 8 Pro 32bit.
MiNODLogin starts when clicked but closes after approx 4-5 seconds without doing anything.
I’ve added to the exclusion list in ESET. Yes Java is installed.
MiNODLogin was working fine yesterday so I tried updating it to the latest but still get the same problem.

For the newer versions the only trouble free solution I found was to use an older eset v4.5 file security in a virtual machine with the box mara fix to create an update server and then pointing the new versions to the mirrored files.
You should avoid java like the plague its a massive security risk

Thanks for the reply. I searched for the box mara fix and came across a site nsanedown. They had a bit of info which lead me to TNod. Just installed it and it’s worked.
I’ve had so much trouble with minologin that I’m inclined to drop it for good.

I’ve tried all of the fixes over the years and I like box mara fix the best. No issues at all.
