Repack? ripped? full ripped? portable?

Whats the differences between all this repack, ripped, full ripped, portable games? Which is better?

Repack = A fixed release,Means the previous one (of the same release group) had some kind of problem.
Proper = Almost the same as Repack,Except that the fixed release is by another group.
Rip = Have certain things removed (such as intro movies or in-game music,You should always refer to the NFO for the specifics)
Full Rip = Only 3rd party languages removed,So English only.
Portable = Can be ran as-is (without installation)
