Cant play many ripped gamez…

Hi, everyone, i have a problem.For some time now,i havent been able to play a bunch of ripped gamez, for example
Battlefield 3 (tried all the releases)
shank2 (tried all the releases)
NFS the run
and others.
To be more specific :
In some gamez ,after opening the executable file,my keyboard doesnt function,
other times,when im in game,the keyboard wont work,but the mouse will;so this means i cant move.And other times, i can move in game,but cant move with the mouse.
This stuff is really pissing me off,since theres so many games ive been wanting to play but i just cant.
Also i have some high quality gaming gear,and it works fine for everything and i have a good graphics card and enough memory.
By the way,i dont have any problems with games that i bought online or on dvd.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated

for starters update your graphics card software online, and direct x
i hade the same problem with the run, then updated my ati driver
and the game worked, after that make sure you have enough ram,
also check the name of a game on this website to see if its compatible for your p,c.

Ok so ive updated my drivers and still doesnt work,ive also checked for system requirements and they all pass.Although not at the recommended level.

some pcs or laptops still have problems with ripped games, make sure
you read the nfo files that are included, also if the game hase to be a loaded iso
then make sure the iso is still loaded on the drive (because it acts a a cd drive)
when you are playing, and also steam has become more strict with ripped games the last year,
another thing i can mention is, try is open some exe files like- “run as administrator”
sometimes it makes a difference, anyway some problems can be found by trial and error.
