Really slow speeds on utorrent.. HELP

ever since i got utorrent i been getting really slow speeds like dial up speed. my connection is 1.5 im running the latest utorrent, can sum1 help me configuer my utorrent settings so i get normal speeds

Dude.. the speed does not depend on the Internet Connection speed of yours..!!
It is the seeders speed tht matters..!! For eg. Your usual download speed is lets say 5 MBps
and the seeders upload speed is 1MBps.. u will not get more than 800KB/ps speed.. And max tht would be is 1MBPS..!! hope it helps..!!

yeh that kinda helps i guess i just gotta look for the right torrent but i still rekon there is sumfn wrong with my utorrent the settings must b changed wrong

Stop using public torrents, they’re notoriously crappy.

Open uTorrent, press CTRL + P. Set your settings like this, only on these pages.

(Change the port)

(Match them)

(Change the value of the one in bold)

The speed you get depends on your internet connection and that of the seeders…if you think there’s something wrong…try downloading a torrent with the most seeders and least leachers you can find and see what peed you are downloading at…1.5mb connection is not fast at all to be honest so ofcourse it will be slow…I’m on a 10mb connection and can download at an average speed of 800kbs-1mb on utorrent
and public torrents are not that bad aslong as you know what your doing
