so i put them in both and it still doesn’t work i have a 1gb memory stick witch has enough memory for the game and i have lastest custom firmwire 5.00 m.33
so what i am i doing wrong ?? any advice
put the .iso file directly in the ISO folder on the root of the MS..
Then go to games, and it should pop up. You might need to enable a plugin under M33..

did you put them both in the iso folder, and did you extract them? its not like a computer emulator, it cannot read .zip or .rar, (some people are total newbs so i had to ask), also when you reset the setting did you reset the settings? from the xmb (read your psp guide that came with it), hold select, your M33 settings window should pop up, go down and change umd iso mode to Sony or M33 otherwise you will also get a error since it does not detect a psp game in your umd slot.

huh, where did you download these from? if you downloaded it from here its already in iso/cso form and all you need to do is extract the game into your iso folder, also msroot means Memory stick root, as in root directory which in your case is E:/ISO, btw are you trying to play a ps1 game, then that is your problem, psp games are in ISO/CSO form, you should have said if you are trying to play a ps1 or psp game, if its a ps1 game you have to put them in E:/PSP/Game in their own folder and you will have to convert PS1 games into Eboot format (eboot is a special format for psp), if you are trying to play a psp game, then just redownload the game for a good source like here at z bb.
wait a sec, i just reread it……. you extracted the data from the iso………. that is your problem, PUT THE ISO DIRECTLY IN THE ISO FOLDER DONT EXTRACT!!!!!!!., that is why its messing up, put it in E:/ISO, thats your problem it cant read random files it needs to be in iso or cso format (cso is a ripped psp game), so again DONT EXTRACT ISO, PUT DIRECTLY ON MEMORY STICK.
I cant this what happens i downloaded 4 files
i click part one and there were files one called psp_game with loads of stuff and a bin file called umd_data but now i click it is like this
but when i try to move it over it extracts and goes into rar file like above
so what will i do ??
Extract the archives and get a single iso image, drag that into the iso folder in the PSP, if your firmware and recovery settings are set properly it will boot the game.
extract the the GTA iso and drag it to the ISO folder… Then it should appear under “Games”
Don’t Open the ISO, or extract the ISO… Just drag the entire file..
