Possible to put 720p rips (600mb) on DVD?

The rips that are like 1280×544 resolution but 600mb in size, would I be able to put this on DVD to then watch on my TV?

edit: obv the res will be downscaled to fit DVD..

Yeah, you can do that. ConvertX to DVD works well with mkv/x264 files, and it burns them aswell.
