Playstation 3 controller not charging?
August 6th, 2016
So as the title implies, my Playstation 3 controller is not working. The last time I used it the battery was low so I plugged it in the console to charge it. When I plugged it in, the 4 LED lights blinked once and nothing else happened after that. I tried charging it with my computer, with a laptop and with the console itself but nothing helped. I tried changing the cable and pressing the small reset button on the controller itself but I’m still having this problem. I have no idea what might be causing this problem as I tried to charge my other controller and it worked fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
It may not be paired with the PS3 and acting weird. I’ve had that happen a few times. If that’s not it then the controller may just be dead. Sorry.
Just tried to charge the other controller again and it’s doing the same thing. I’m finding it hard to believe that they both died at the same time. Should I try and pair them again? Thanks for replying.
the controller is not dead.
reset the controller, by putting a pin in the reset hole on the back of controller. keep it pressed in for 10 seconds or so. now plug in the control to ps3 and then turn ps3 off. unplug the ps3 and switch on again with controller still plugged in.
