Partition without data lost?

Hi,
I would like to know is there a way to partition the HDD without reformatting it?

Resize the main partition and create other partitions with the free space…

With Disk Management you can often shrink the existing partition , to the amount you want or can, and then make another partition out of the freespace..
Or you can use a third party app. like Acronis Disk Director.
You set up what you want ,and it does all the steps for you on reboot after you “commit” it.
