No game disk found!

Whenever I try to run Sims 3 I get the error “No game disk found! ” any help?
Answer #1
please I really need help.
Answer #2
if its a pirated copy have you patched the game?
If so make sure you are running it from the right exe. The default shortcuts that open up the launcher window will not allow the game to run.. you need to go to the installation directory and run TS3.exe
Answer #3
That is what I am doing but when I launch of the game and get to the menu it still says it.
Answer #4
have you patched the game?
Answer #5
how do I do that?
Answer #6
IDk what version you downloaded but somewhere in the files you download there should be a crack, it will just be called “TS3” and it will look exactly like The Sims 3 shortcuts and exe’s… you want to copy that file and paste it OVER the existing file in the instillation directory
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
Answer #7
I’ve done that though. and then I click on it to launch the game and after it goes through everything and im at the main menu it says “No disk found!”
Answer #8
what do you mean main menu? the game its self will not launch at all if it thinks there is no Disk so you shouldnt be able to get to the main menu
Answer #9
I am in the sims 3 game. Its at the part where I am about to pick the city I want to go into and then the “No game disk found!” error comes up.
Answer #10
hmm idk then, try this crack instead:
http://m0002.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_the_sims_3.shtml#The Sims 3 <ANY VERSION> [MULTI] Generic No-DVD Patch
Answer #11
Still isn’t working..
Answer #12
Copy the crack file…i.e which has the sims 3 icon that is the same one as the one which u click to open the game
now go to the folder where you have installed the game
for ex:- C/Program files/Ea games/sims 3/
then paste the file there
you have to replace the original file with this one
See if it works
