Need help with issues converting PDF to Word (.docx, .doc)

December 6th, 2023

Hello,
I have a problem with a PDF catalog, I want to export the text to Word without the images, using Adobe Acrobat X and I also tried to do with free online tools as well as Nitro Pro 9, and I get the following problems in the .doc, .docx:
– Text in the new row starts with a lowercase letter and in the catalog it starts with a uppercase letter (hello instead of Hello)
– Some parts of the text get completely lowercase but instead they should be all uppercase (hello instead of HELLO)
– Some parts of the text have random casing issue for example like this: hElLo instead of Hello
I have also tried exporting it to .rtf, excel formats are a complete mess so I can’t even consider using them.
Does anyone have any idea/solution on how I can properly convert the PDF catalog to Word with the text being exact regarding the capitalization of the letters and other formatting – I don’t see any options regarding keeping the format in Nitro and Acrobat. Fonts used in PDF catalog is Myriad Pro and Myriad Pro-Black which I have installed in the system.
I am open to other suggestions it doesn’t have to be Word, just as long as I can export/convert all of the text from the Catalog while maintaining the uppercase/lowercase letters and Bold option in some parts.
Please help and thanks in advance!

I would go to the adobe support forum specifically for what you’re trying to do and get a more precise answer:
