Name disallowed to register

Hi all
Sorry if my first topic will be in helpdesk but i had a problem registering on the site. I tried to register with my normal username which is GenesisGFX and i got this message “Sorry, but this username has been disallowed.” My question is why? I have never been on this site before so what seems to be the problem with that username?

Re your enquiry, I suggest you contact a Super/Elite moderator.
A list of those online are shown at the bottom of the front page.

thanks for the reply I would contact them as soon as i get 10 posts as that is minimum requirement to make a PM

It may be because someone previous with the exact name has been banned.
Or it could just mean that it has been already registered by a pre-existing user.

would some admin could reply to this and yes you could be right but from my experiences with my nickname no one has ever used it and i never had any problems with it

May b ur u/n is the code name of a gfx team in this board and thats why not allowed,for ex. If want ‘elite moderator’ as ur u/n, i think it wud be not allowed.These r my assumptions,not sure though.

i have the same problem too how could i solve it?

It is against the rules to make a reply to an old topic unless under special circumstances such as, but not limited to, the topic's discussion has died but there is new striking evidence to turn thoughts around or saying thank you for the author. A reply with information that is relevant and useful is allowed..
