~ Disallowed ~ and idm not working

Hey guys,
Just picked up a fileserve account but i cant get it working with idm..
my settings are ..
Site: http://*.~ Disallowed ~
User: (my filesever username)
Pass:(my fileserve pass)
is there something i need to enable?
I didnt see a ‘direct link’ option in the settings like rapidshare had.

it is working form me i just tested it on some of my fileserve links, do you have the latest copy of idm?

yep latest one… i cant resume a download, says my session has expired and that i should refresh the link or restart the download. should be working fine as i am a premium user

why don’t you contact fileserve with an e-mail telling them your problem

i emailed them… the answer was useless, just directing me to FAQ on the website and telling me what i already know
EDIT: I just figured out something, removing the fileserve from the site logins in options solved my resuming issue… dunno if it will work permanently now but now i can resume my downloads straight away, try it and let know if it works for you too

File Serve has stated “direct downloading” is working.

well it doesn’t work that well finally…
yeah maybe direct download work but i can’t resume my downloads once I paused them…

the problem i keep having is that idm keeps downloading a webpage instead of the actual file when i copy links directly to idm
(ex: http://www.~ Disallowed ~/file/DUVbj2b/Starcraft_II_Wings_Of_Liberty_Proper-Razor1911_CRACK_ONLY.rar)
looks like it needs cookies for it to download not just a user/pass
Please remember that ALL links must be coded, including, but not limited to, e-mail addresses, passwords, and internal links. Coded for you this time.

yes, cookies are required. you need to login to your fileserve account then paste the link to your browser.
by the way, the right way of inputting fileserve to your IDM site logins is this: *fileserve*
you can check this by right clicking an item then properties. you would see that the login would have changed. try comparing it to fileserve* or *fileserve and you just get anonymous

I don’t understand why IDM can download from FS via my browser, but not from links I copy and paste into it..

I contacted their tech support (never had such a friendly and useful reply before!) They said there are problems with Opera (the browser I’m using) as well as IDM and that they are in the process of providing full support and integration. Just hope they can keep to their word.

Was just about to start a thread on this very issue.
This is driving me crazy.
I joined FS premium 30 days for the very first time last night after a few people only offer something I wanted in FS.
It has been a nighmare!.
Firstly even through it was ticked the direct download of links would not work, I needed to faff on for about 20 minutes for that to work.
But then the file links I am putting in IDM are all expiring within minutes, all jumping to the following Error; HTTP/1.1 410 Gone
Trying to then readd the links from scratch from the post here on WBB does not work half the time too and I get a 3 minute freeze with IDM and my browser with “Send Get…” staying on there there until it errors out.
For some other reason I cannot get: http://Username:Pass@FS.com To work either (I was hoping to remote upload the FS links to hotfile or something, but as I say that does not work.
I am so annoyed with all these issues I honestly feel like reporting to paypal for my money back as this is no way a “premuim” service.

At least you can log in. Whenever I enter my login info in IDM it just tells me password verification failed =S

surprising……… premium FS having these problems?
i m having no probs using FS and IDM as a free user, i was even able to resume a download by getting a new link from FS for an interrupted download task

Well im premium and i keep getting this with idm, and fs support are no help. im logged into my browser and idm have correct user/pass, doing my head in, im seeking a refund
