My sound controls keeps resetting..what the hell?
January 27th, 2020
It keeps resetting on that second bar and my sounds always off whenever a song changes, or i change the sound up a little bit or whatever, the pic basically says it all. How do I make it the same as before without this BS resetting?
it looks like your winamp & mixer/wave volume are the same
if one moves duz the other ?
duz the volume slider change while it’s open, between or repeating songs ?
I record/watch TV with 3 diff apps
one of them was always resetting the wave volume so I made sure they were all the same
now no more resetting
anybody else know how to get rid of this constant resetting? before I would adjust it and it would stick, but ever since I formatted or something, its been resetting always..
Likely your sound drivers are not installed after your reformat. . . Most likely it is the Realtek AC3 drivers that you need. . . . They should be on the install Cd that came with your PC. . . . Or, you have to go to Motherboard’s Mgr’s web site to get it for your motherboard
Below is for WinXP. . . Vista is similar
. . . . . Right-click My Computer (Choose Properties)
. . . . . Hardware tab
. . . . . Device Manager button
Look under Sound, video, game controllers
If yellow signs show (or Sound entry is not even listed), you are missing the drivers
reinstalling the sound drives should fix everything?
