mp4 video editing software needed…
February 2nd, 2020
I have several mp4 vids taken from a phone.
the videos are of an incorrect ‘alignment’, ie, they were taken with the phone up straight instead of lengthways-side to side.
the videos, when viewed are ‘sideways’ after transferring them to the pc. I can not see them as they would be or appear to be on the phone[self-alligning].
I was hoping to burn the vid files to a dvd but these are incorrectly oriented so, are of no use.
Is there software out there and available to use in xp…that can ”re-align’ the video so it be look-at-able[on a pc]?
tia.
Avidemux will do the job. You can rotate the video any direction you want with one of the filters. It’s free as well!

if want it a bit easier ,then go for Freemake Gold it’s especially easy to maintain the perspective ratios …
check it at http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/
Cut, Join, Rotate, Limit file size
Cut video parts from your file. Flip or rotate video. Join several videos into one file, add transitions between parts. Fit the output file size to any limit (e.g. 700 Mb, 1.4 Gb, 4.7 Gb), adjust to aspect ratio: add black bars, stretch, zoom, auto-adjust.
hope this helps …
u will find it in our Apps forum let us know how u go
thanks ”!
