Advice needed – looking for easy video editing software

In few weeks time I’ve got a contest at my school, we’re supposed to prepare a funny short movie. The thing is I’m looking for a programme (or programmes) that will help me with such issues as
* integrating clips into one movie with adding transitions while moving to next scene
* adding subtitles
* adding music to the clips
* making the voices a bit louder
* adding a picture (logo) at the beginning of the movie
(*) changing rotation of the clip (let’s say it’s a 1 minute scene, but first 30 seconds are horizontal and the other are vertical and I want to make the vertical second horizontal)
As you can see these are rather non-challenging issues I’m looking for a software for really basic tasks. It would be great if the programme(s) would be easy enough to use by a newbie to the matter of video editing. Any help would be highly aprreciated, thank you
