keyboard+mouse problem

now, i never had this problem before.. every couple of minutes the mouse just freezes for a secound or 2 and then unfreezes again.. and it happens over and over again!! it just pisses me off ! oh and secound problem, a bit more annoying, every half an hour or even an hour the keyboard and the mouse freezes and they dont unfreeze untill i reboot my pc.. and im like HOLY CRAP WHAT’S GOING ON HERE?! this really pisses me off.. ><
so i tried to replace the keyboard and mouse to other USB port but same result even there.. scanned for viruses came out clean.. oh and btw this doesnt just happen in games.. it happens even now when im surffing the web..
guys..WTF is going on with my pc?!

Give system restore a go:

Pick a restore point that was made before it started. If the issue remains, Then check your motherboard for bad capacitors, Refer to these pics for examples;

u mentioned you switched ports….try switching the device itself i.e try different keyboard and mouse….this will help you know whether your keyboard mouse is faulty or the ports….

Well, There’s two of em:
1. Replace the motherboard (Will require an OS reinstall afterward)
2. Replace the capacitors (Requires a soldering iron and some knowledge/experience, This ones for the pros)
But it could also just be an OS problem of a sort. You could try booting from a Linux Live CD to determine if this is the case or not.
try switching the device itself i.e try different keyboard and mouse....this will help you know whether your keyboard mouse is faulty or the ports....
It’s unlikely that both of em will go bad at the same time, But it’s worth a try I guess.
However, Even if the problem will remain, This will not indicate a problem with the ports themselves, But with the OS or motherboard capacitors.

^ agreed…but i had a similar issue with my friend and during troubleshooting first thing i did was this and we found the culprit…..so just giving practical advice….
