iTouch crashed, restarted and had no music..

Ok so im running a 2G iTouch on 3.1 firmware and had roughly 5000 songs. My ipod got laggy and crashed just now and when i went to play music I only had my podcasts and 1 purchased song. The rest was all wiped, even my videos. All my apps and settings are fine and it says the space is still being used… Anyway to fix?!?

try a reset on your ipod and restore from itunes

I’d say search for a hard reset.

Re-sync it from your PC?
