Answer #11
sounds like you need to buy a new monitor guy.
Answer #12
if you do not worry that monitor will pop out,let it screensaver, it doesnt matter any way because ur monitor still in state of working, you need it to rest or somehow, just buy a new monitor pal..
Answer #13
I don’t even use a screensaver, I just turn off my monitor and go to sleep, mostly because AVG is still performing it’s daily scan and I’m downloading thing over night… Hasn’t blown up on me.. YET :p
Answer #14
if i click on sleep, will it make my monitor turn off
Answer #15
You can leave it on for as long as you want, as long as you don’t mind paying the power bill or the light from your monitor keeping you awake. A screensaver can be helpful for preventing image burn-in, but it is unlikely that will happen unless you left it alone for several days. Since the monitor is broken already and you are getting a new monitor anyway, a little burn-in is probably the least of your worries with the old monitor. I say go for it. As soon as you get your new monitor, it’s best to turn it off when you aren’t using it or set it to sleep after a certain period of time to prolong the life of the monitor. Leaving the computer on for long periods won’t hurt it at all.
Answer #16
If u got good fans and stuff to keep your computer temperature low then you can leave it open otherwise don’t.
Answer #17

Machines don’t need rest. They will just wear out faster if you use them more. Chances are your computer will be obsolete a long time before it wears out.

I’ve left my computer running without rebooting for over 30 days with no slowdowns or crashes.
And yes it is running Windows.
Answer #19
I’ve had a PC on for 63 days, without a single restart and not had any problems at all with it. 100% CPU load the whole time too
Computers don’t need “rest”. They don’t get tired.
Answer #20
You’ll be probably fine even without a screensaver.
