Sony MDR-V700DJ. I used to have a pair of them! Loved them but someone snapped one of the cups off after about 7-8 months!
Look out for fakes though there seems to be a lot of them.

why don’t you just walk into a few stores, say to them: “this is my budget what can you offer me?”
after that you get back home, search a bit on the net about things you saw and decide what you should get.
that’s how I buy stuff.

only problem with that edward is i dont have many best buys close to me, its a good 45 minute drive to the closest one, im only shopping there because i have alot in gift cards there. Those are a little out of my price range linel, i dont really wanna put down 200 on headphones. Bestbuy doesnt seem to carry the v700s G3, are the MDRV500DJ’s any good? im looking into those.
Answer #6
trust me, a cheap $10 earphone will do the same job
Answer #7
No, not to anyone who has the majority of their hearing range and (should be able to) actually tell the difference. You probobly think stock phones that come with your ipod/walkman sound good, dont you?

alright, well ive pretty much narrowed it down to either HD 205’s or MDR-V500DJ’s, ill prob go with the sonys though cause alot of people say the HD 205’s are head grippers
EDIT: On second thought and after reading many head-fi reviews, it would appear that the 205’s would be the better choice here.

Flawless! The sound that comes out of these things are amazing. I have a pair of these and I have never been so happy with a pair of head phones. Frequency spectrum range is extremely wide, you can hear things other head phones wont produce. As far as the head hugging thing mine fit just fine, and I have a big head believe me you wont be disappointing. =)
I do a lot of FL Studio work and these things will work for you. Great for movies, and music.

i went with the HD 205 headphones, they sound really good and are great for when im DJing.
