I need to Unlock my iphone 5 – to use a SIM card overseas

i dont think i need it jailbroken just unlocked

Price for unlocking iPhone 5 via IMEI is around 50-200$ depends on network carrier… Also NO, there is no software or hardware unlock for it..
Get in contact with apple, and explain your case to them (maybe make up a sob story) and they may send you the unlock code.
Your carrier has to go an ask apple for it anyways, as far as i know (someone correct me if i’m wrong). That’s usually why the charge applies. Oh that and they’re greedy c*nts

How about 4S? Is it CURRENTLY unlockable? Not talking if it once USED TO BE because I know they patched that SAM thing.
call your network tell them to unlock it, did for me, it was my misses, or buy a unlock code from ebay �50-100 i think

There is NO software unlock for iPhone 5… probably there will never be one… Maybe hardware unlock but not sure about that too…
4S can be unlocked via Gevey Ultra S, you only need to see which BB is supported by it… (google)

erm shouldn’t you be able to use the iPhone ANYWHERE in the world without unlocking? Isn’t unlocking just for your country? Like if you live in the UK and you’re on O2 (locked) then you can only use it on that network in the UK but if you take it abroad you SHOULD be able to use it as normal (on a network in that country). I cant really explain it properly but there’s the word Quadband in there somewhere

If iPhone is LOCKED then it’s LOCKED to all network carriers… SIM FREE iPhone is unlocked for every single network…
you just need to get a gevey sim or r-sim 6 to unlock it. easy.
