Unlock iphone 4

I buy an iphone from ebay but it was not unlocked anyone know how to unlock it becase i cant access o do not know the firmware

General>About>Baseband write what says here and for unlock you have 2 options:
1.Gevey SIM unlock
2.ultrasn0w unlock (if you have unlockable baseband)
Or you can’t acess phone at all?

01.59.00 can be unlocked with ultrasn0w every other BB (02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01) can’t be unlocked with ultrasn0w only with GEVEY micro chip!

Go to Settings –> General –> About and look under Modem Firmware and tell me what BB you have (or read this above and you will know what to do)!

You could always call the official provider and get the unlatching code.
For instance, if I wanted my contract iphone to be unlocked, I would call my network (O2) and ask them for the unlatching code. Takes a few days, but they would give it to me for free.
Other networks might charge a small fee.
But its an official unlock. You could give that a go if Ultrasn0w doesn’t work.
