I have 2 “Local Disks” I want to make it 1. How?

January 21st, 2020

Hi, I believe they are Partition 2 and Partition 3.
I want to make them into 1 partition!
How?
Thanks!

Answer #1
Assuming these 2 “local disks” are 2 partition belonging to a single HD then its doable with pretty much any partition manager (Such as paragon or acronis disk director)
you could also use windows built-in disk mangement , If you have data on these partitions then using
paragon or acronis would be best as they can merge em without data loss (There is however no guarntees,So
if you indeed have data on these , Better back it up before having a go at it)
Answer #2
Thanks.
I formatted the one that I don’t use. Is that a problem?
Where’s the windows built-in disk management? I’m using Vista.
Answer #3
No its not a problem , To get into disk mangement open up start>run (or hold the windows key+R) type diskmgmt.msc
and hit enter , You would need to delete both partitions and then re-create a single partition from the unallocated space
, This is the only way to go if using windows disk management , As said before if you have data on it then better use paragon
partition manager or acronis to merge em (But again,Backup is important ^)

I’ll buy acronis disk director!
Answer #5
