How to upgrade Vista Home to Ultimate?
January 29th, 2020
I got Vista Home (already activated) with my laptop.
I also got an upgrade CD for Ultimate but it needs some sort of serial or something according to its write-up.
Is there a way to upgrade without forking the money for that serial?
Are there any patches that will work without messing up the currently installed programs.
Thanks in advance.
Nope..You need a legit key for Ultimate..or you can download a pirated version..but you have to reinstall..
You can’t mate. I was in the exact same position, bought a computer with Vista Home Basic and wanted to upgrade.
I had to format to install ultimate to found myself not really enjoying it… so switched back to xp pro sp2.
Bad news but thank you nevertheless.
I just need domain support capability and maybe the fix for MCE 2005 will also work here.

^ Look in the appz section for a preactivated ultimate version…
You can do an upgrade install (I think) so your files would be saved.

the easy way to upgrade without spending a penny , go to a pc store look for a laptop with ultimate installed, have jelly bean in a usb stick ready to stick in copy paste product key , go home write down the key , after installing ultimate choose activate by phone and follow the instructions ull get it activated and wa laaaa
or if you are to lazy to do that just download my upload after installing ultimate or what ever version you wish, go to
