Vista Home Premium (Genuine) to Vista Ultimate (Fake)

August 5th, 2016

I’m considering upgrading Vista Home Premium on my laptop to Ultimate. The Home Premium is a genuine copy, while Ultimate would be one from here. I just want to know what privileges I may lose in case I do this ‘upgrade’.
And is upgrading simple? Do I have to do a clean install or something if not?

Answer #1
I strongly advice you NOT to do this. Windows vista ultimate delivers nothing extra that you will use, why give up a perfectly working and legal OS that you can update so you can go screw arround with cracks and patches all the times to have some extra’s you will never use?
Answer #2
Compare Windows Vista editions
This MSoft page compares 4 editions of vista & may answer your questions: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/compare-editions/default.aspx
