Help with genuine vista home basic

I have a Legal version of windows vista home basic, however the Pc I bought didn’t come with a CD, my PC has crashed due to Trojons and other spyware problems. I have the C.O.D sticker but I can’t find a copy of windows that actually works and I have burnt at least 50 DVDs worth of windows vista. I have used all the right ISO software and have followed all the instructions that the uploader has left.
This is my last resource. anyone have a real windows vista home basic copy that is Legal and is not corrupt. Let me Thanx.

Erm idk how come the ones on here arent working …
Try finding a friend who might have it and copying it off him the good old fashioned way thats what I did with my windows and it works like a charm. Otherwise (not that you didnt already do this) but look for a copy with great feedback or find a different copy of windows.

some pcs have an extra harddrive or partition that has your windows version installed on it, you could try boot from it to install windows again (if your pc actually has that) or you could try to phone the company’s helpdesk and ask what to do, maybe they could send you a new disc or something

ok Thanx heaps for your help, I wasn’t aware before, But my Pdoes actually have a separate partition that my pc installed windows onto while spliting myhardrive partitin in half.

mostly preinstalled os are shipped with a recovery cd.check it must be their in your cd bundle that came with your pc.
