How to change language in DEAD SPACE 1

Hi guys i just installed dead space 1 & its only in french or German is there are anyway i can change the language to English

I found this:
Instructions
1 Click the “Start” button, and select the “Computer” option.
2 Double-click on your computer’s hard drive icon, followed by the “Documents and Settings” folder.
3 Double-click on your user folder, followed by the “Local Settings” folder.
4 Double-click on the “Application Data” folder, followed by the “Electronic Arts” folder.
5 Double-click the “settings.txt” file to open the file in NotePad.
6 Locate the section of text that reads “locale = XX,” where “XX” is the language abbreviation for the game’s current language.
7 Replace the “XX” portion of the text with the language abbreviation for the language that you want to use. For example, if you want to change the language to English, you would type “locale = en.”
8 Click the “File” menu, and select the “Save” option.
If the game you downloaded does not have English as part of the download, you will probably need to find another version. I don’t seem to recall seeing any language packs only downloads.

Unfortunately my game is only in German & French well i’ll just play it in french till i download another version thx any way
