Dead Space 3 Resolution

When trying to open dead space 3 i get a resolution error and my screen goes black. Ive looked for system changes and been told to go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\EA Games\Dead Space 3\
Open up system.txt and you can change resolution there but given the fact ive used black box edition the folder is empty and there isn’t a way that I can see to change resolution.
I also use a TV monitor which doesn’t help with resolutions with problems like this. If any one has another idea it would be much appreciated.

Try moving system.txt and see of the game will re-create it on launch.
Else, try doing a clean re-install using the full version (preferably) if you can get your hands on it
Also make sure all relevant drivers are up-to-date
