How do you capture copyrighted streaming VOD?

I am trying to download streaming video from a subscription website full of documentaries:

Unfortunately, the videos are copyrighted and I do not have a program which will capture the stream. Internet Download Manager does not work, and Applian Replay Media Catcher recognizes the stream but refuses to download it because it is copyrighted. Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions which does not involve recording it from the screen? I am currently using this method with Camtasia but it is extremely time and resource intensive. There MUST be a more elegant solution. I am dying to directly download all these hundreds of wonderful rare documentaries. Please post your suggestions

A few of them are. But there are hundreds of titles. I have no choice but to download the rest from that site. Many are published by Australian TV, so it’s hard to find them.
