How do u get video and audio codec information from a video?

You can use a utility called GSpot
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
yeah or avi2clipboard, much faster
AVI2Clipboard would be good if the info it gave was correct. Sometimes it is close and sometimes it is totally incorrect. The copy to clipboard is useful but many times I have to copy from GSpot to get some of the info correct.
