How do I learn 3d modeling?

I want to make some 3d cars but where to start learning? I tried youtube vids but they go to parts I don’t understand. Any help would be great .

If you ever need help with it just PM me – I’ve been learning 3DS Max for almost 3 months now so know a bit ^^
I’d recomend you to watch a lot of tutorials from Digital Tutors

any of the autodesk take a long time to master…ive been using autocad by autodesk since 2000 and im still rough when it comes to 3D modeling in autodesk although i do not use it much…there are alot of youtube tutorials tho but best thing it to just mess with the program
