Answer #1
a page fault occurs when a program tries to access memory than has been moved from RAM onto the page file on the hard drive, so the computer has to copy it back off the hard drive. your numbers are a bit high, but nothing to worry about. consider buying more ram, or closing programs you dont need

u didn’t say how much ram u have or what OS u r using , but before u spend money ,i wud recommend u check which tasks or apps are maybe chewing up your memory reserves … find the cause and u can then work on the answer ..
imho the best app for this is Process Explorer …
Ever wondered which program has a particular file or directory open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.
The unique capabilities of Process Explorer make it useful for tracking down DLL-version problems or handle leaks, and provide insight into the way Windows and applications work.

it’s available athttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
it might show u a memory hog or leak which u can delete to fix your prob ..
its gud , and its free..
hope this helps
