I want to purchase an etextbook on Amazon (.AZW) and convert it to PDF format to use on my reader and also to print pages. I’ve tried converting with Calibre and it horribly distorts it and leaves none of the original formatting, thus making it unusable as it is a textbook with images. I also downloaded a DRM remover and it distorted the book as well. I’ve been testing this all with a sample that I downloaded from Amazon’s website to make sure I’ll be able to do it before buying. Does anyone know of a method to convert the .AZW to PDF without losing any of the original formatting?
This is the textbook encase it helps: http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Physiology-Laboratory-Version-ebook/dp/B005JTUIQ8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_kstore_1?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2
(BTW Kindle PC Converted worked, but the watermark on it made it pretty useless , it covered up a lot of important figures. Any ideas how to remove the watermark without paying 40$ for the program?)
