amazon kindle ebook help

i recently got a kindly for christmas and i got it because i could read books free of charge by downloading them here! xD
anyways my kindle did not come with a usb so i have no clue as to how i can get books on to my kindle.
Does anyone have a link to a tutorial site? or knows how to put books on a kindle?
