January 24th, 2020
i have a hp pavilion dv6633us wich i purchased lately,, but unfortunately while i was playing a game the notebook turned off and didnt turn on again.. When i took the battery and reinstalled it it started a little.. I took the battery and connected to ac but this time also turned on little and went off.. so i guess its not a problem of battery. One of my friend said i have to reset my bios something.. please help me out and win a rapidshare..
well idk what the prob is, but if you need to reset your bios:
there is a silver battery on your motherboard and it is round. take it out for 30 sec and put it back in. there is also a method to do it with the jumper, but that is more complicated. idk if this helps, but just a lil input.
you might have had a system crash. which is fixable. but what happens on boot up, can u see anything?
Yeah like he said, reset BIOS. Open up the laptop, search the laptop model DV6633us on youtube and you may find something on how to open it up to get to the motherboard, find the battery and take it out for a while.
If that does not work, take out the RAM which is near the batter compartment, very easy to get to. Try turning it on with only one stick of RAM, try either of them, maybe one of them is faulty.
mmm, just send it to the service repair centre. you might have burn out something in your motherboard
please help me outa with more suggestions….

can you get to your bios in the first place?
It doesn’t turn on.
Then there is a problem with the power supply.
Man look, post this in the help desk and you may find someone to help you without offering that RS acc.
Ok…
You got it recently. Then i am guessing it is still covered by your insurance.
Send it back to HP. They will probaly fix it, OR send you a new machine.
dv series had graphics issue
so i guess its not a problem of battery.
might be the power adapter tho, not charging the battery
