Extract the files all together at once and you should get your video file. To convert the .mkv to any other video type you desire, use “ultimate video converter” which you can find by using the search button on here.

cccp codec pack is much better for playback of mkv files
Answer #4
Like said above, why convert? mkv is a perfectly good extension. Download CCCP codec pack, and play with VLC/BS player or WMP classic…
Answer #5
Do not convert mkv files!
MKV is the best possible solution to store HD videos…
Just download VLC player, no codecs needed, and play your .mkv video…
Good luck
Answer #6
As stated, just let the MKV and use players like VLC media player, or even better, Core Avc.

I’ve had problems with VLC lagging, they might have changed that in later versions.
Just don’t convert .mkv please. It feels like you stab a dagger into my chest if you do that.

Indeed, MKF a so massively underrated codec. I know what you mean by VLC lagging, but I usually just play a bit with the stop & play or ff a bit and usually works fine then. Else, I’ve got other programs to do the trick

I use The KMPlayer (Korean Mediaplayer). But Media Player Classic should be able to do it too.

Jep, there’s so much “good” choice out there. Also like GOM player, wastes a bit more memory but has quite a few advantages compared to other players.
