Harddrive clearing – locating large files..

February 6th, 2020

Hi,
I’m trying to clean up my hard drive as it’s running low on memory.
Can anyone recommend a good way to see where I’m using up my storage? Maybe something which I can run from windows or maybe an easy program which can tell me?
Also do you recommend CCleaner?
Thanks

I believe Windows search allows you to search for files with a min/max size…and yes, CCleaner is a very handy tool.

you also may want to turn off hidden files in folder options to see all files

this is what I do
start with files over 10000000000 and then drop a zero and search again
if on 7 or vista get “everything”, a great search utility
