Fresh install of XP – problem

I load my XP disk in and it loads files – then on the first re-boot
it keeps going back to the setup ?? – checked bios –

Have u created the partitions correctly. recheck it…
If the setup is not able to store the files temporarily then it reboots and starts the setup again.. so pls check the harddisk and the partitions

There are no partitions – del all of them – formats ok Tnx for responce

When the reboot happens remove the cd from your drive untill the windows boot up screen shows, then just reinsert the CD

I found that in bios that it was set to AUTO for IDE – I set this to large
and it worked just fine — Always something new .. as I norm run SATA and had to re-build a old
IDE computer for a kid ..
Darn – don’t hve much hair left to pull out these days (
