Flash player not playing videos properly

Hey guys,
I am having trouble viewing videos on website such as Youtube. I can see the little thumbnail preview in the progress bar when I hover my cursor over it, but I can’t see the actual video. It remains dark. Below is a screenshot of what I mean:

I have tried updating flash player, but the problem persists. I’ve also ran windows update to see if the problem will fix, but no luck. What do you guys suggest I do?

What browser and extensions are you using?
Youtube defaults to a html5 player now…

I’m using Firefox 37.0. I’m on 64bit Win7 SP1 I think. However, it doesn’t work on IE either. Also, I forgot to mention that the sound works perfectly fine. It’s just the visual part of the video that doesn’t work.

try chrome and see does it work could be an addon on firefox ya might have that could play up with it

you image host not working can you post other image?

If the audio works then it should be a problem with hardware rendering. Try to update your video card’s driver and check if hardware acceleration is correctly set.
