Films Not Working in Plex Media Server

I have downloaded some films that are in mkv format, but they do not play like others in Plex Media Server..VLC media player also picks up faults in them…No Suitable De-coder…Yet most of the Films I have always downloaded have always worked fine in VLC…Jus that some will not play in Plex Media Server…Any advice would be appreciated..I have tried changing mkv to mp4, still no luck.

I have never encountered any problem playing mkv in Plex Media Server unless it is corrupted. Maybe a new installation would solve the problem?
Hi , Thank you for your relpy.. it is nothing to do with Plex Media Server, it is a matter of the mkv not being coded right.. I only came across this issue when trying other Peoples uploads. I now stick to the unloaders I have always used, and like you, I have never had a problem with..(Lesson Learnt)…!
